What is it? These are a mystery!

Recently my husband and I came across some very interesting items in a box. And for the past several weeks we have been looking to see if we see anything like these items. So now I am asking everyone in these pictures below which I will number (Just in case) if anyone has any possible solutions as to what these are or who a maker is or any information would be very helpful :) So here it goes, help me out :)

Towle E.P Serving Platter 12 x 8 #4008 Vintage Towle Silver Centerpiece Bowl

Old English Pattern Art Nouveau Floral - This is a gorgeous silver serving bowl.

This is made by Towle and decorated with a thick floral, leaf and vine pattern around the rim. The bowl measures 12 x 8 with a scalloped or wavy rim and is 4" high at the highest point. The piece is also signed Towle EP with number 4008 and it could be marked with a number under the sticker. This is a very beautiful piece done in a high relief or repousse style. There are some visible wear, mostly around the sides inside but nothing that detracts from its beauty.
